Vacation rental in Seaside, OR on the Northern Oregon Coast

The house is located in the resort town of Seaside, on the Necanicum River, 5 blocks to the beach, near the city center, and has an outdoor 6 person hot tub. It is a peaceful setting where blue herons and other marine life are frequent visitors to the river shore. Seaside is 75 miles west of Portland on the northern Oregon Coast (1 1/2 hour driving time). The Amtrak bus from Portland stops right next door.

  • Festivals & Events - the town hosts many year round events. Here’s a sample: Seaside...And All That Jazz; 4th of July Celebration; Hood to Coast (200 mile relay run from Mt. Hood to Seaside); National Beach Volleyball Tournament; Sand Castle Sculptures (Cannon Beach); Kite Competitions; & Yuletide at Seaside.
  • Canoe or Kayak - right from the house on the calm waters of the Necanicum River. Canoes and sea kayaks are available to rent right next door.
  • Biking - all types can be rented or bring your own and ride the 2 mile ocean promenade or mountain bike the trails.
  • Shopping - Broadway (9 blocks) features locally owned shops, galleries, bookstores, antiques, arcades & many cafes. Seaside Outlet Shops and Cinema are 3 blocks away.
  • Hiking - there are a number of hiking trails in the area including the designated National Wild and Scenic Tillamook Head Trail. This 8 mile trail cascades high above the ocean from Seaside to Cannon Beach, through old growth forests, to secluded beaches and coves. Or explore the Necanicum Estuary, just a few blocks from the house, where the river meets the ocean and home to many birds and marine life.

low season: mid week: $160/night; weekend: $175/night
(Sep 6 - Feb 28, excluding Thanksgiving Day & weekend, Christmas break, and President's Weekend)

mid season: mid week: $175/night; weekend: $200/night
(Mar 1 - May 20, plus Thanksgiving Day & weekend, Christmas break, and President's Weekend)

high season: mid week: $225/night; weekend: $275/night
(May 21 - Sept 5)

Hood to Coast weekend  $300/night  (ALREADY RESERVED)

*Rates are for up to 6 people, $10/person/night beyond 6, maximum of 12 people

$300 refundable damage / excessive cleaning deposit, no extra cleaning fee
Cancellation policy: 1/3 of total lodging forfeited if canceling more than 30 days from arrival date; no refunds within 30 days of arrival.
